About Your Job: As the Senior Finance Assistant, you will follow up and collect company dues pertaining to station customers and suppliers.
Specific accountabilities include:

• Sending monthly statement of accounts to all customers
• Issuing letters, reminders per wee to follow up outstanding receivables and queries to customers
• Reviewing statement of accounts and clearing old due invoices with customers
• Following up with customers by phone, emails or official letters
• Collecting payments (cheques and cash) from customers and issuing receipts for receiving payments
• Following up for payment details from customers and suppliers
• Maintaining receivable calendar of all agents and monitoring the exposure.
• Ensuring timely settlement of receivables both sales and debit notes as per settlement dates/contracts and no debts exceed the approved credit limit

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma or Associate Degree combined with a minimum of three years of job-related experience.  You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel and be familiar with General Ledger and Chart of Accounts. User Level experience of an ERP, such as Oracle, is required along with exposure to either expenditure or revenue accounting.
