For our sales office in Dubai we are currently looking for a Chemical Sales Engineer – Coatings & Construction

As Chemicals Sales Engineer your responsibilities are:
- Propose formulation changes / formulated systems to provide better technical and commercial value to the customer and internally, while maintaining or increasing product quality levels.
- Consult to customers on technical issues; Identify technically viable chemical constituents and components to be used as raw materials.
- Searching for new clients and maximizing client potential in designated regions; developing long-term relationships with clients; providing pre-sales technical assistance and advice; meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
- Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts; negotiating tenders and contract terms and conditions

Requirements

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or Material Science; or related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical capacity in the field of formulated polymer, coating systems, tooling and composites.
- Thorough knowledge of specifically handling technical aspects (R&D) and of the regional market’s (UAE/ Middle East) especially in Coating & Construction.
- Result oriented and a good team player who able to build good relationship internally and externally; analytical and problem-solving skills
- Place of residence in the UAE, valid UAE driver’s license; willingness to travel within Middle East
