There is no perfect partner and this is well known. But for sure there are some characteristics you should posses, that make you more suitable candidate for being flight attendant’s boyfriend. Besides being charming and loving her too much the following characteristics can make you a bit closer to the image of the perfect boyfriend for a flight attendant:

1. To be flexible about their time and schedule

Because flight attendants work on crazy schedules, it is of an utmost importance for their partner to be very flexible with his free time and working hours. In the flight attendants working schedule there are no free weekends, guaranteed crazy Saturday nights out and free holidays. So, the most important thing is to adapt and accept that the relation will be a sort of a roller coaster ride through periods of night shifts, busy working weekends. But it will be worth it.

2. Not to feel less well traveled and speechless in comparison to her!

One thing is for sure. Flight attendants partners cannot be bored. Never. Ever. This is because every flight attendant brings home crazy stories from around the world after almost every flight. But, after some time, it can become a problem, because there won`t be nothing nearly as interesting as the flight attendants stories in an ordinary man’s life to share after work. Except if the partner is a pilot. The best thing is to learn how to listen and to appreciate these stories, which except of being funny, are also a good way of reducing the stress after a long working day, or night.

3. Not to be jealous!

Flight attendants can sometimes be more than polite and it might be a little strange, when they speak to somebody. However, constantly smiling and using all those nice and polite words are just part of her routine work-behavior, and she is not definitely trying to get someone’s attention. 4. Not to expect to go out so often!

All those busy schedules, constantly keeping the balance of good behavior with the crew, passengers and ground staff sucks a lot of energy during the day. That’s why every flight attendant need some time to spend with herself, to have a good rest or to simply enjoy the cozy day off home. Going out so often isn’t really their favorite thing to do, so if she doesn’t do it often- consider it as normal behavior!

5. To learn how to manage the house

There is not flight attendant that had ever come back from work and said “I will make dinner hun!”. After the long working day if you really want to make her happy, than you better make some nice dinner or even order something but for your own good never leave the house without food and in total mess. Overworked, tired and hungry flight attendant can go crazy in less than a second. The easiest way to deal with it is to keep some order in the house and have the food ready if possible!

6. Respect the “sleeping schedule”

If a flight attendant wants to sleep, than she really means it! It is not like she can come home from a 2-days-in-a-row working schedule and go to some friends birthday after that.

At the end it all comes to the same thing Happy Wife, Happy Life ! If you  respect these few rules, you will not make yourself a good flight attendant’s boyfriend but you will be happier, yourself too!
