 Requirements:
  • Must be female
  • Should be 18 years of age at the time of joining
  • Arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes with weight in proportion to height
  • Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment, and a visual acuity of 6/9 (aided or unaided)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written (this will be tested). Ability to speak Dari, Pashtu, Urdu will be an advantage
  • Confident in a customer facing role (with a minimum of 6 months experience)
  • Previous experience will be an advantage

 Requirements:
  • The Crew Planning and Scheduling Officer works closely with the Cabin Crew, Flight Deck, Training Manager, Human Resources and Cabin Crew Manager.
  • Establish the number of flying staff required to meet the projected commercial plan and other company requirements.
  • Ensure utilization of aircrew in accordance with the requirements of CAA regulations and agreements.
  • Produce work schedules for all aircrew to meet the agreed operational plan.
  • Allocate aircrew to flights in accordance with the agreed periods of warnings; make changes in allocations as necessary to cope with changes in the program.
  • Maintain up to date accurate records of aircrew utilization, personal data etc, in a condition that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously review and develop mechanized systems for scheduling of aircrew and the maintenance of aircrew records.
  • Establish and control leave patterns for all flight deck and cabin crew.
  • Ensure the exchange of information and experience within the interfacing departments

FLIGHT DISPATCHERS

 Requirements:
  • Take all necessary steps to ensure a safe and punctual operation in accordance with the Operations Manual and operating procedures, on a cost efficient basis.
  • Production of Operational Flight Plans; and when applicable sign the OFP and ATC Flight plan.
  • Secure optimum air traffic slots, with due regard to flight times and over flight charges.
  • Proactively manage the flight schedule by maintaining the Company flight following system, and maintaining weather and NOTAM watch as appropriate to the operation, to minimize potential disruptions.
  • Liaise with engineering with regard to maintenance and all other departments and organizations as appropriate, to maximize aircraft availability.
  • Initiation of emergency procedure as outline in the emergency response plan.
  • The appropriate authority will be advised of the situation as per the ERP

  • Maintain Company Manuals and flight guides etc. in operations.
  • Flight Operations Officers/Flight Dispatchers engaged in crewing duties will monitor operational crews flying duties to ensure the avoidance of fatigue and ensure compliance with the Company Flight Time Limitations scheme to maintain roster stability.
  • Furnish the PIC, while in flight, with appropriate information that may be necessary for the safe conduct of flight.
  • Assist the PIC in flight preparation and provide the relevant information required.
  • Assist the PIC in preparing the operational and ATC flight plans, and file the ATC flight plan with the appropriate ATS unit.
  • Dispatch Safi Airways flights in accordance with the conditions and limitations of the Safi Airways AOC.

We are pleased to announce our requirement for a Commercial Director to head our Commercial Division. The role will primarily be based in Dubai but will have to travel to Kabul depending on the company requirement.

 Requirements:
  • Responsible for the proper development and implementation of a commercial strategy to enhance the airline's competitive position and develop strategies to increase revenues, as well as maximising the airline's attractiveness amongst passengers (domestic and International).
  • Help define the future commercial direction of the company and determines the objectives and proposes business solutions to achieve profitability.
  • Leads and provides strategic and tactical direction to the Commercial function (Sales & Marketing, Business Development (Domestic, International and e-business), Marketing & Communication, Airline scheduling, International Affairs, Charter sales, Cargo sales and Revenue Management, Pricing & Distribution, Product and FFP).
  • Responsible for the budget planning and implementation of the commercial area, including the costs of sales, distribution and other costs associated with revenue production.

  • Management of a clear internal communication to all stakeholders with regard to sales activity.

 Principal accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that all maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant approved regulatory technical maintenance data.
  • Maintains a FOD free working area ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained within the working area.
  • Ensures that maximum attention is given to the On Time Performance of the company.
  • Ensures all maintenance performed on designated aircraft is coordinated and complete, within regulatory and company standards and maintenance id performed to the correct approved data.
  • Works within a team working environment giving guidance and assistance where required to other maintenance personnel to maintain safe and effective working practices.
  • To liaise with the maintenance control centre and planning engineer to carry out the necessary work scope as required by those areas and within the time scale required.
  • To ensure tooling and equipment prior to use are within calibrated time scales and equipment used is serviceable, reporting to the maintenance manager when items of equipment and tooling are found to be unserviceable.
  • To report any AOG and defect to the Maintenance Control Centre for control and recording and to ensure that all defects are entered into the technical log and ADD log if deferred.
  • To report any unsafe condition to management.
  • To correct any Quality Assurance finding or issue as delegate by the management.
  • To ensure that all procedures are correctly followed as outlined within the OEM approved data, regulatory and company documentation and to report any discrepancies of such to the management.
  • Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately with applicable maintenance data references and in a timely manner including the use of calibrated equipment.
  • Ensures that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the completed appropriate tag attached. The unserviceable” part of the tag should state the ECAM/ EICAS warning. CMS/ CFDS maintenance message of fault code etc.
  • Develops and coaches junior staff in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.
  • Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with employees, other Safi Department and external customers.
  • As appropriate, wears equipment provided by the company for health and safety reason and corporate image.
  • To perform Pre-flight check and routine checks as required.
  • To perform daily stores duties of stock control receipt, dispatch and stock card data entry.
  • To ensure that all personal licenses or authorizations issued by the regulator or the company remain valid and are renewed in a timely manner.
  • To perform any task assigned to him by the Maintenance Manager and maintenance Control Centre Manager.
  • To release aircraft to service within the regulatory and company requirements.
